Vanities & laundry

Wet-area joinery that is built for water, not just for photos.

Bathroom vanities and laundry cabinetry designed around the actual plumbing, the chosen basin and the stone — with water-resistant substrates as standard.

Vanities

The three decisions that determine whether a vanity ages well.

Substrate

Moisture-resistant board throughout, with sealed cut edges. This is the single biggest factor in vanity longevity and the first thing cheap quotes cut.

Mounting

Floating vanities need the wall structure planned for the load. Floor-mounted suits heavier stone tops and renovation work where the wall is not suitable.

Top and basin

Undermount, inset or vessel. Stone or mineral surface. The cabinetry is designed to the basin cut-out, not adjusted afterwards.

Laundry

A working room, not a leftover space. Appliances, hampers and drying all need a place.

Appliance integration

  • Stacked washer and dryer towers
  • Side-by-side with bench above
  • Front-load recesses with door fronts
  • Provision for plumbing access

Storage and function

  • Built-in hamper systems
  • Overhead and full-height cupboards
  • Drying rail and folding bench
  • Broom and cleaning storage
Note: we take on vanities and laundry as part of a larger scope. We do not take a standalone vanity on its own — the design and delivery cost does not work at that size.

Frequently asked about vanities and laundry.

Will a timber veneer vanity survive a bathroom?

Yes, if the substrate is right and the edges and penetrations are sealed. Veneer on a moisture-resistant core with sealed cut-outs performs well. We will advise against veneer in specific positions — for example directly around an open shower — rather than sell it to you anyway.

Can you work with my plumber?

Yes. We need the plumbing set-out before we lock the design. If the plumber is already engaged, send us their set-out drawing.

Can you fit a laundry into a small space?

That is the normal case in Sydney. Stacked appliances plus a full-height cupboard in a 900mm run is achievable. Send photos and a rough measurement.
